Des Peres

• On May 27 at 7:50 a.m., a traffic stop at 13455 Manchester Road resulted in the arrest of a suspect with a warrant out of St. Louis County.

• On May 27 at 2:25 p.m., a suspect at West County Center stole $360 in cash from a retail store by short changing the clerk.

• On May 27 at 8:25 p.m., two suspects stole a $54 dress from West County Center.

• On May 28, two suspects at West County Center stole $80 of merchandise.

• On May 30 at 2:25 p.m., a suspect at West County Center stole $272 of clothing.

• On May 30 at 6:16 p.m., a victim discovered their vehicle was damaged while parked in front of their house in the 2000 block of Fairoyal Drive.

• On May 30 at 6:37 p.m., two suspects at West County Center stole $1,000 in merchandise.

• On May 31 at 10:39 a.m., a Lyft driver was assaulted by a passenger at West County Center. The passenger was arrested and issued a summons.

• On May 31 at 4:37 p.m., a juvenile was taken into custody for shoplifting $65 in clothing from West County Center.

• On May 31 at 6:18 p.m., a victim’s vehicle was damaged by a suspect after a driving dispute at West County Center.

• On June 1 at 5:22 p.m., a suspect shoplifted $99 in shoes from West County Center. The suspect was identified through security footage and a warrant application was made.

• On June 2, a suspect was arrested for shoplifting $327 in fragrances from West County Center.

Glendale

• On June 10 at noon, officers investigated a report of an unauthorized solicitor in the 200 block of Parkland Ave. Officers contacted the representative from Aptive Pest Control and advised him to cease until obtaining a proper permit.

• On June 11 at 7:21 p.m., officers observed an unauthorized solicitor in the unit block of Southridge Drive.Officers contacted the representative from Hawx Pest Control and advised him to cease until obtaining a proper permit. Later that evening, officers observed the solicitor continuing to go door to door. He was advised to cease, or he would be prosecuted.

• On June 15 at 11:59 p.m., officers were requested to check the welfare of residents in the 900 block of Dwyer Ave. after two separate Uber Eats Drivers reported hearing suspicious noises inside the house when making their deliveries. While attempting to contact the resident, a light inside the residence was turned off and there was no answer at the door. A later check revealed the food deliveries were still on the front porch.

• On June 16 at 8:40 p.m., officers investigated a report of juveniles riding minibikes in and out of traffic near the intersection of N. Berry Road at W. Lockwood Ave. They left the area prior to arrival.

Shrewsbury

• On June 11, a resident of the 7800 block of Ravensridge Road reported the theft of packages from her porch that occurred in May.

• On June 12, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Sutherland and Shrewsbury avenues, and learned the driver had several warrants for her arrest throughout the region. The adult female was arrested and transported to Manchester to answer to her warrants.

• On June 12, a customer at Walmart realized she lost her credit card at the store, and later learned it was “found” and fraudulently used at other Shrewsbury businesses. “Finders keepers” does not apply.

• On June 12, an officer was contacted at the station by a subject who said his vehicle was shot at while driving on westbound I-44 near Shrewsbury Ave. He was not injured and described the vehicle as a charcoal gray Acura SUV. The driver/suspect was described as a “younger” black male with braided hair and a beard. The suspect vehicle continued westbound on I-44.

• On June 12, officers responded to a business parking lot in the 7200 block of Watson Road for a report of a vehicle crash in which the striking vehicle fled the scene. The suspect vehicle was entered into the Flock camera system as being involved in this crime. Several hours later, Flock notified officers the vehicle had reentered Shrewsbury. They located the vehicle and stopped the driver, who was positively identified and arrested.

• On June 15, a resident of the 5000 block of Hi View Ave. reported damage to his Hyundai Elantra during an attempted vehicle theft.

• On June 15, officers responded to the 7300 block of Sutherland Ave. for a report of a vehicle crash involving a parked vehicle. The adult female driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

• On June 16, in the early morning hours, officers responded to the 7500 block of Suffolk Ave. for a report of a vehicle crash involving a parked vehicle. The adult male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

• On June 16, officers were dispatched to a business in the 7400 block of Watson Road for a shoplifting that had just occurred wherein the suspect fled from security into the parking lot. Officers were provided with the vehicle description and an officer observed that vehicle leaving the lot. He attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver fled in such a reckless manner that the officer ended the attempts. Fortunately for police, the gentleman has really bad tattoos, which make him easily identifiable, and he is well known to the law enforcement community. He will face charges soon.

Webster Groves

• On June 10 at 10:39 a.m., a victim in the 2800 block of Breckenridge Industrial Court reported two suspects stole two catalytic converters from company work vehicles.

• On June 13 at 6:30 a.m., a victim in the 200 block of W. Lockwood Ave. reported their purse was stolen while shopping in the 200 block of W. Lockwood Ave.

• On June 15 at 11:39 a.m., a victim in the 1400 block of Belton Ave. reported their vehicle license plate was stolen between 5:30 p.m. on June 14 and 7:30 a.m. on June 15. Their vehicle was also ransacked, but nothing was reported stolen.
